Last night saw the grand opening of the new Donghia showroom located in Washington, D.C.’s design district, Cady’s Alley which is home to a great collection of high-end showrooms and shops.
Jack Bentley met up with the ever glamorous Margaret Russell, Editor in Chief of AD who was hosting the event with Andrea Rubelli, President and CEO of Donghia. “D.C. is an important region for our company,” said Andrea “This is a highly-sophisticated design and luxury market and we embrace the opportunity to create a new showroom in Georgetown that serves our clients and offers a space where they can work efficiently, but also relax and be inspired.”
It seems the whole of Washington poured in for the event, to see the space designed by Creative Director Chuck Chewning.
Porta Romana are delighted with the showroom, and have already seen an increase in quotations. The audacious move to the new district seems to be paying off.
