Gareth Devonald Smith

In our third decade we welcome back renowned artist Gareth Devonald Smith, who has expanded his collection for Porta Romana with two sculptural pieces which exhibit his strong identifiable style. When embarking on a new piece, Gareth’s creative process begins with experimentation. Shapes and doodles combine with his instinctive flair for form and colour. Blend these ideas with the talents of our artisans and craftspeople, as well as the best materials; we produce an undeniable representation of the artist’s work ethic. From the brutalist, linear identity of the Metropolis lamp to the considered curves and spheres of the Sputnik Chandelier, each piece captures the essence of Gareth’s style.
