Warren Street Hotel, New York

Firmdale Hotels’ newest New York property, the Warren Street Hotel, brings Kit Kemp’s unmistakable design language to Tribeca. Across its 69 bedrooms, suites and residences, Kit — alongside her daughters Willow and Minnie — has created interiors rich with colour, craft and joyful pattern. At the heart of these spaces sits a signature lighting moment: the Rockin’ Robin collection, designed by Kit and Minnie in collaboration with Porta Romana.

Inspired by Alexander Calder’s mobiles and the quiet poetry of early morning walks through British forests, the collection pairs branch-like sculptural frames, organic twine detailing and slip-cast porcelain eggs with a beautifully crafted robin. Featured in Stucco Plaster White or hand-painted in Multi, a palette of playful colours — each piece brings movement, charm and a touch of modern whimsy.

Throughout the hotel, the Rockin' Robin appears as table lamps, ceiling pendants and wall lights, each selected to sit harmoniously within the room’s distinctive textiles and handcrafted furniture. Their gentle glow and sculptural form help define the layering and storytelling that Kit Kemp is celebrated for.

We’re delighted to have contributed to a project that captures the spirit of emotional, art-driven hospitality design — where lighting becomes part of the wider narrative and enhances each guest’s experience. Get in touch with our team to see how we can support your next project.
